<p>1. They were used as extras in the lines to increase the crowd size and hype demand.</p>
<p>2. They are Apple fanboys who simply waited in line to long and rigamortis set in.</p>
<p>3. They were devoted employees from the genius bar who volunteered for an experiment to fix the infamous antenna ground loop reception problem that went horribly wrong.</p>
