This photo was taken on 58th st & 5th ave beside the Apple flagship store a few days after the iPhone 4 went on sale. A few possibilities come to mind.
1. They were used as extras in the lines to increase the crowd size and hype demand.
2. They are Apple fanboys who simply waited in line to long and rigamortis set in.
3. They were devoted employees from the genuis bar who volunteered for an experiment to fix the infamous antenna ground loop reception problem that went horribly wrong.
4. They are the next gen iPeople like the ones that Steve has around his crib for ego lifting.
